Yes, that’s correct – it is no longer only the three of us! After a long time of lacking a capable inhouse artist we finally found someone to fill the position for the graphics ‘department’. We’d like to introduce our latest Broken Rules family member: Clemens Scott. We thought it would be nice if he’d personally write a little introduction, so here we go:
Greetings everyone!
I appreciate the opportunity to finally introduce myself to the public, as I have been operating behind the scenes from the Broken Rules headquarters for the last couple of weeks already!
In the last two years I have been working as a self-employed artist, working in multiple disciplines (from illustration, animation, and webdesign to interior design, mural painting and graffiti art), but my strongest focus always was on video games.
If you’re interested in some of my previous projects, you can check out my online portfolio.
I’ve always wanted to work on games professionally, but Austria is not necessarily what you would call the most fertile ground for game development companies and the local indie community is rather small. It took me a while to find the right people but at the last Vienna Game Jam I met Felix, Peter and Jan and for all I can say it was love on the first sight!
Currently I’m working on a couple of titles that will be released under the Broken Radio Games label (which we’ll write more about soon) as well as supporting the rest of the team with all the work that’s still due for the And Yet It Moves Wii release. It’s been a really interesting and exciting time so far.
I feel like I’ve finally hit home with the work I want to do and humbly hope that my skills will help to establish the position of Broken Rules as the awesome indie game studio they are even further. Let the good times roll!
Make sure to check back soon for more updates!
