Today is the last day of our extraordinary Indie Love Bundle, which you hopefully heard about! The bundle brings together And Yet It Moves + Auditorium + Aztaka + Eufloria +Machinarium+ Osmos for the low cost of $20!

At first glance, it looks like just another great deal (and it is
but there is a difference here. This is a distribution channel that is completely organized, developed and run by small independent game studios.
That’s why we would like to tell you a bit more about the story behind it.
Jonathan, founder of Citérémis, had the initial idea of making an independent bundle for Christmas in December 2009. After contacting us here at Broken Rules, we brought together Jakub (Amanita Design), Eddy (Hemisphere Games), Will (Cipher Prime) and Rudolf (Omni Systems) for an awesome collaboration. We soon realized that organizing this was going to take a while, so we pushed the bundle from Christmas to Valentines Day.
Will and Dain from Cipher Prime worked hard to build the website & purchasing system of the bundle from the ground up. It can do everything you expect from the big players, like credit card & paypal support, individual, platform independent downloads and an awesome gifting system, where you can gift each game to someone else in case you already own it. And of course all the games are DRM free.
This is more than just a great one-time deal, this is also an experiment — and if it’s successful, we plan on involving many more great indies over time to make these bundles a regular event!
So what we envision for www.theindiebundle.com is a bundle system that is run by independent developers themselves and that will bring competitively priced bundles of awesome indie games directly to our customers.
Don’t get us wrong, we love what Steam, D2D and the other distribution networks can do for us. Their momentum is really huge, but we do like our independence and the more decisions that lie in our hands the better.
So thanks buying it and if you didn’t already go grab it fast. It’s only available until Friday the 19th at 11:59 pm EST

This is a great idea! It seems like a really great way to expose people to games they may not have initially tried.
